Class II BSC(Biological Safety Cabinet, 생물안전작업대), 생물학적 안전캐비넷의 밸리데이션은

오염제거가 확실하게 진행 되었는가 첵크를 해야 합니다.

일반적으로 진행하는 기류와 풍속측정 및  HEPA filter의 효율을 측정하기 위한

particle 측정의 밸리데이션 만으로는 충분하지 않습니다.

일반세균이나 bacterial spore의 멸균을 확인하기 위한 BI indicator를 사용한

validation이 필요 할 것으로 생각됩니다.

Class II BSC, 생물학적 안전캐비넷(생물안전작업대)는 중요한 다음의 조건이 충족되어야 합니다.

1. Circulated to all regions within sealed cabinet.

2. Demonstrates the ability to kill or make inactive bacterial spores.

NSF/ANSI 49-2007에는 Formaldeyde를 명시 해 놓았습니다만

formaldehyde가 발암성물질로 확인된 후 적합한 소독제로 대용 할 수 있게 되었습니다.
